By accessing or using Acedly, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time and will notify you of significant changes.
2. Description of Service
Acedly is an AI-powered study platform that allows users to upload content such as YouTube links, PDFs, audio recordings, and documents to generate study notes, flashcards, quizzes, and podcasts. Some features may require a paid subscription.
3. Account Registration
You must sign in with a valid Google account to use Acedly. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Acedly to upload or process content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others. You may not use Acedly to generate content that infringes on copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
5. Content Ownership
You retain ownership of all content you upload to Acedly. By uploading content, you grant Acedly a limited license to process and store your content solely for the purpose of providing the service. We do not claim ownership of your content and will never sell it to third parties.
6. AI-Generated Content
Study notes, flashcards, quizzes, and podcasts generated by Acedly are created using artificial intelligence. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. Acedly is not responsible for decisions made based on AI-generated study materials.
7. Payments and Subscriptions
Acedly offers both free and paid plans. Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe. All payments are non-refundable unless required by law. You may cancel your subscription at any time and will continue to have access until the end of your billing period.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.
9. Limitation of Liability
Acedly is provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from the use of Acedly shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.
